Mumbai: Vinay Pathak is back with yet another intriguing tale of an ordinary man caught in the midst of an extraordinary situation. His latest film Oh My God is the story of Rajendra Dubey - an idealistic sales guy with high ambitions who takes no favours even if it comes from the Lord Almighty himself.
The tagline is Bhagwan deta par Dubey Nahi Leta (god gives but Dubey doesn’t take).
“God is creating all the confusion not me, if he tells me not to take bribe why should I, you tell me" says actor, Vinay Pathak.
This leaves Mr Dubey's wife played by Divya Dutta with no choice but to keep praying to God.
"I play the simple woman, who has very simple needs in life, like her husband should be happy and she prays to god that her husband should be happy," says actor Divya Dutta.
And finally when was the last time that the actors actually mouthed the titled of their film Oh My God
“Unfortunately it was in the recent tragedy I was suppose to be in Taj and I said Oh My God I wasn’t there"
"Some twenty minutes back in another interview, oh my god this interview is over," adds Vinay Pathak.
Directed by debutant Sourabh Srivastava Oh My God hits screens this Friday.
